And while we are beyond grateful to have found this home and to have fallen in love with so many of its wonderful features, there’s definitely some fixing up that needs to happen around this place in terms of repairs and maintenance as well as updating its style and functionality. My husband Weston and I love finding ways to fix up our place on a budget when we can and in today’s video we are trying our hand at a DIY bathroom renovation on a dime. We have $400 and a week to give this early 2000s builder-grade bathroom a spa makeover. Since we’re mostly just working with what we’ve got, thrifting some items and reusing some supplies and decor pieces that we already have on hand, we are confident will be able to come in under budget. BUT! you never know with undertaking DIY renovations--- anything can happen unexpectedly! With a little determination, and some creativity we can transform this space to suit our needs and complete another step on the journey of taking this place from HOUSE to HOME!
